On the Air and On Stage: Oktoberfest Season 2026

October 7, 2026

Oktoberfest season is in full swing! This past weekend brought me to Saskatoon for two nights at Oktoberfeset on the Prairies at Prairieland Park with the Western Senators

Friday started with a mornig of radio interviews-a chance to talk about the music, and invite listeners out for the weekend. Then it was time to head to the venue and take the stage. Thank you to the stations that welcomed me, the organizers, and everyone who joined us!

I filmed a little along the way and put together a day-in-the-life video following Friday from the morning radio stops to the evening show. Watch it below for a look behind the scenes.

There's more Oktoberfest music ahead! This Saturday, October 10, I'll be performing with The Jordan Rody Band at ANAVETS in Prince Albert. SK. The following weekend brings The Jordan Rody Duo to Grande Prairie and Clairemont, AB. Visit the "Tour" page for upcoming dates and ticket information. Hope to see you out on the dance floor soon!

Prost!

NEW ALBUM AND OKTOBERFEST SHOWS

October 20, 2025

Oktoberfest season has been incredible this year. We've logged over 3000 kilometers performing across Western Canada, and it's not over yet. Our final Oktoberfest show of the season takes place October 25th in Thorsby, Alberta which sold out weeks in advance after last year's sell out.

On October 11th I officially released a new album Then & Now. What began in 2018 was a duet project with my grandpa became a tribute album after his passing in 2020. We celebrated its release with a CD Release Concert at the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts in Leduc, AB, where fans traveled from across Canada to be part of a truly special night.

I couldn't be happier with how this project camr together. Joining me on the album are Joey "The Cow Polka King" Miskulin, longtime sideman to Frankie Yankovic, and Ed Klancnik, son of the late Gaylord Klancnik. Their musicianship and heart brought the perfect touch to honour the legacy behind these songs.

The new album Then & Now is available right here through the webiste, simply visit the Store tab to order your copy online, or come see a Jordan Rody show live and pick one up in person!

New Album Then & Now Coming Soon!

February 26, 2025.

Exciting things are happening in the studio! I've been hard at work on my upcoming album, Then & Now, a project that's especially close to my heart. This album is a tribute to my grandfather, Mike Kushneryk, and the music he wrote throughout his career and some other notable songs in my career. I'm bringing his original compositiions back to life, blending a tradional sound with a modern touch, while staying true to the authentic sound that inspired me to play in the first place.

We're in the final stages of recording, with some incredible musicians collaborating on this project. The process has been both exciting and humbling-revisiting my grandfather's music and adding my own style to it has been an amazing experience. I can't wait for you all to hear it!

Stay tuned for the official release date, behind-the-scene updates, and ways to get your hands on the album. This album means a lot to me, and I hope it'll mean something to you too. Follow along for updates, and get ready for Then & Now!
