New Album Then & Now Coming Soon!

February 26, 2025.

Exciting things are happening in the studio! I've been hard at work on my upcoming album, Then & Now, a project that's especially close to my heart. This album is a tribute to my grandfather, Mike Kushneryk, and the music he wrote throughout his career and some other notable songs in my career. I'm bringing his original compositiions back to life, blending a tradional sound with a modern touch, while staying true to the authentic sound that inspired me to play in the first place. 

 

We're in the final stages of recording, with some incredible musicians collaborating on this project. The process has been both exciting and humbling-revisiting my grandfather's music and adding my own style to it has been an amazing experience. I can't wait for you all to hear it!

Oktoberfest season is off to a great start and looking to the remainder of the shows! Last weekend we had a great time at the Spirit of Red Deer Oktoberfest in Red Deer, AB. If you haven't been you should plan to attend next year, it's a great event. We still have a few more shows left this season in Prince Albert, SK; Clairmont, AB; and Thorsby, AB check out the 'tour' page for more info and hope to see you down the road!

 2024 Summer Events & Oktoberfest Season!!!

 

August 9, 2024.

Mark your calendars!! The Jordan Rody Band is loading up the polka wagon and headed to Prince Albert, SK for the annual PA PolkaFest August 23rd and 24th!! For more info call: (306) 764-1711.

 

September 13th and 14th, another project of mine (Jordan Rody & The Oktoberfesters - a more traditional 5 piece band with 3 horns) is at the world class event Oldstoberfest in Old's, AB.                                  Main Squeeze!

My debut album, Main Squeeze!, is now available for digital download and streaming everywhere you listen to music. Also, physical purchases are available through my website in the "store" tab.

It's now on YouTube! For those that don't know I was very priviliged in 2013 to be a special guest on PolkaRama! The show features Canada's Polka King Walter Ostanek, and Saskatchewan's Grammy nominated polka band, The Western Senators. It was such an amazing experience to be a part of the tv taping, and I won't forget it anytime soon! The whole season is available on DVD through The Western Senators website. www.WesternSenators.com
